In 1890, the Eastern Star Chapter helped the Cedar Bayou Masons purchase a piece of land between the Masonic Hall and the Cedar Bayou stream for a cost of .00. The land became a cemetary where burial plots were sold for .00.

Saturday, May 3, 1959, Cedar Bayou Chapter celebrated it's 75th birthday at the Community House in Baytown, Texas. WGM Kathrine Poulis and WGP Lewis T. Davis were in attendance.
May 12, 1984, Cedar Bayou Chapter celebrated it's 100th year birthday. WGM Marjorie Johnson and WGP Ralph A. Davis attended.
There was a covered dish meal for all at the Cedar Bayou Methodist Church. Following the meal, at 7:30pm a meeting was held at the Baytown Civic Center. 5 PGMs and 2 PGPs attended along with many other dignitaries.
May 16, 2009, Cedar Bayou Chapter celebrated it's 125th year Birthday. WGP Ray Hertenberger and his lovely wife, Grand Esther Vickie Hertenberger, attended. We celebrated with a picnic on the grounds of Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge. We ate hot dogs, chips, dips and lots of cookies and brownies. We played checkers, dominos & scrabble. Then ended the day with some Karaoke singing. Fun was had by all who attended.
